Spanning over 9,000 hectares along the Tyrrhenian coast, the Maremma Natural Park is rich in diverse natural environments, from sandy beaches to cliffs and pine forests to marshlands. The park is teeming with wildlife, including wild boar, fallow deer, foxes, and migratory birds.

There are various hiking trails with panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Tuscan Archipelago. For a more immersive experience, you can take guided horseback or carriage tours along ancient paths once used by Maremma’s traditional herders, the butteri. The park also boasts historical sites, like coastal watchtowers and the Abbey of San Rabano, adding a historical touch to its natural beauty.
